Welcome to the MOMA MUG (Midnight Oil, Macintosh Association, Mac Users Group) website. We support all Mac Users in Central Florida, East Coast, Volusia County. The includes the main Cities: of Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Flagler, DeLand, New Smyrna Beach, and Edgewater. One meeting is offered the first Thursday of the Month,  at 7:00 p.m., at Embry-Riddle in Daytona. The meeting site offers overhead projection, sound amplification, and internet connectivity.

Our purpose is to provide support to Macintosh computer owners. The Macintosh is the original GUI (graphic user interface) personal computer and the choice of graphic and print media production professionals. At the individual level, the Mac offers an ease of use unrivaled in the business. If you can see it, you are only a single or double mouse click away from making it happen. And, Apple Computer has packaged the internet for the masses - the "i" in iMac stands for Internet. Yes, just like Jeff Goldbloom said, plug it into the wall, and into the phone jack - you are connected!

With the ever expanding base of Macintosh models it is helpful to disseminate basic and advanced information as may be needed by a Mac user. The MOMA MUG functions to provide face-to-face help for members as part of the meetings format. This website is to facilitate the dissemination of all information to all comers, both newbies and Macmavens. We are fiercely loyal to our Macs. We spread the faith as Mac evangelists all. We don't do windoze.

Frank A. Milo*, President MOMA MUG, Daytona Beach, Florida, O'Kane Conwell, Treasurer.

Go here to get the latest Software Updates. Carefully READ the System Version and other operational requirements BEFORE downloading and installing any software. For example, Netscape Communicator 6.x CANNOT be installed on a Mac 6400/6500 - CPU is not fast enough!
